The Mobile Trauma Unit (MTU) provides highly specialized trauma and surgical capabilities for the field environment. It also regularly provides tactical medical training to local and federal law enforcement agencies.

The MTU has provided advanced surgical capabilities for high-risk missions for federal agencies such as the United States Secret Service, the Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service, and the United Nations Security Service.
