Doctor. Maurizio Miglietta

Dr. Maurizio Miglietta is the visionary Director and Founder of Homeland Security Mobile Trauma Unit Inc. With over 25 years of experience in trauma surgery and emergency medicine, Dr. Miglietta has dedicated his career to advancing the field of mobile trauma care. He has held prestigious positions at top medical institutions and has been instrumental in developing innovative protocols that have saved countless lives. His leadership and expertise have been recognized globally, making him a sought-after speaker and consultant in the realm of emergency response and trauma management.

Deputy Director:

EMT-T Mark S. Hettinger Jr.

Mark S. Hettinger Jr. is a seasoned emergency responder with a 25+ year career in public service. He has extensive experience across various fields, including public works, homeland security, emergency medical services, and firefighting. His work has involved close collaboration with local, state, and federal government agencies, resulting in expertise in policies, procedures, human behavior surveillance, and emergency response management. Hettinger’s strong leadership and interpersonal skills have been invaluable in his roles within numerous organizations and municipalities, counties, and States. He has a proven track record of successfully driving improvements through collaboration, negotiation, and effective delegation.

Assistant Director Mental Health:

LCSW Kathryn Dixon

Kathryn Dixon, LCSW, is a renowned forensic social worker and the founder and executive director of Interstate FACTS. With over three decades of experience, she specializes in mental health, addiction, trauma, and domestic violence. Courts seek her expertise to provide expert services to individuals and families involved in legal matters. Dixon is also an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University and a recognized leader in her field. She previously chaired the NASW National Specialty Practice Section, Social Work & the Courts.
